ABOUT THE DESIGNER...and the Design
I came up with the Vermont Bracelet design, using the V & T in Vermont, in 1994 during a car ride home to Manchester from Quechee, Vermont .
After a career in residential real estate, commercial insurance, marketing and special events at Stratton Mountain, I launched Vermont Bracelet in 1995, presenting the first bracelet to then Vermont Governor Howard Dean. Since then, with the support of my husband John Hand, and our daughters, over 1,800 Vermont Bracelets have been sold around Vermont, the country and the world.
Vermont Bracelets are owned by people whose common bond is their love of Vermont. Women, men, children, high school students; all kinds of folks wear the Vermont Bracelet. Members of the LPGA tour received Vermont Bracelets at an LPGA golf tournament at Stratton Mountain in the mid nineties.
